Description

Handbuilt shell dish decorated with sprigs and luster fired. I Must Lift Them Up was created as an ode to women who help lift other women; whether through encouragement, teaching or just being present.

The piece was slab built from a bisque drop mold decorated with drawings and sprigs then soda fired to cone 10. Mother of pearl luster was then applied and re-fired.
